Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Address Label App (“we”, “us”) handles information for addresslabel.app and the iOS app Address Labels (bundle ID app.addresslabel). It is written so Apple App Store review, and people using the app, can see what we do and do not collect.

Who we are

Summary for the iOS app

The Address Labels iOS app is a local utility. It does not create an account, does not require you to sign in, and does not upload your recipient lists, mailing addresses, or label designs to our servers. We do not operate a backend that stores that content.

  • Addresses and label settings are stored on the device (app storage / UserDefaults).
  • Contacts are read only when you choose people in Apple’s contact picker, and only to fill label fields.
  • CSV files are read only when you pick a file, and only on device.
  • Purchases go through Apple In-App Purchase. We never see your full payment card details.
  • Deleting the app deletes the locally stored addresses and designs on that device.

Information the iOS app uses on your device

Recipient and label data you enter

Names, companies, streets, cities, regions, postal codes, countries, optional phone and email, sheet layout, typography, and start-cell settings stay on your iPhone or iPad. We do not receive copies of this data.

Contacts

If you use Premium import, the system contact picker lets you select contacts that have a postal address. The app copies the selected name and postal fields (and optional phone/email if present) into the recipient list. We do not sync your full address book to a server. You can refuse Contacts access; the rest of the app still works with manually typed recipients.

Files

CSV or text import reads only the file you select. The file is parsed on device to create recipients. We do not upload the file.

Print and share

PDFs are generated on device. If you print or share, iOS and the apps you choose (Printer, Mail, Files, etc.) handle that transfer under their own terms. We do not receive those PDFs unless you email them to us yourself.

In-app purchases

Premium is a one-time non-consumable purchase processed by Apple. Apple may collect purchase identifiers, device, and payment information under the Apple Privacy Policy. Restore Purchases asks Apple whether this Apple ID already owns Premium. We do not run a separate license server.

This website (addresslabel.app)

The marketing site is static. It has no user accounts and no upload forms for address lists. It may use Google Analytics (Measurement ID G-WGSF22J24R) to see aggregate visits (pages viewed, referrer, approximate region, device/browser). Analytics cookies, if used, are for measurement. This website analytics is not built into the iOS app and is not used to identify your label recipients. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Other products linked from this site (web editor, Chrome extension, Mac app, Google Sheets add-on) are separate. Their listings and privacy notices apply when you leave this site.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use recipient addresses for advertising.
  • We do not track iOS app users across other companies’ apps for ads.
  • We do not require an account to use Address Labels on iOS.

Children

The iOS app and this website are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Retention and your choices

On-device data lasts until you delete recipients in the app or delete the app. For website analytics, Google’s retention settings apply. To ask a privacy question, email [email protected]. Because we do not host your address list, we cannot remotely “export your labels from the cloud”; they are only on your device.

International users

The iOS app processes label data locally on your device. The website may be served from hosting providers (for example Vercel) that operate in the United States or other regions.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use of the site or app after an update means you should review the new text.
